Hello brothers and sisters,
I'm happy to report that God loves every one of us. No matter who you are or what you're going through, He LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES YOU! I'll say it again-- No matter who you are or what you're going through, GOD LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES YOU!!! Who? You! Yeah, you! Y-O-U.
I'm so happy!
I wanna shout!
Now I know beyond all doubt
My Daddy loves me
He really loves me
My heart is so
Very blessed to know
He really loves me so
My Daddy loves me
He really loves me
And the more I know His gentle touch
The more I find I fall in love
And my days are filled with the joy He gives
As I live my life for Him
My Daddy loves me
He really loves me
My Daddy loves me
Oh yes He does!

Well sports fans, baseball season is upon us again. As a serious student of hermeneutics and exegesis (whatever that means), I've compiled a team of baseball players from the bible. It is with great anticipation (that some will argue and others will yawn) that I present God's All-Star Baseball Team:

Pitcher-- This young man struck out the Giant with his high heat. (I Samuel 17:49)
Catcher-- According to Genesis 6:14, he was skilled at handling pitching.
First Base-- He covered the base and held the runner. (I Kings 18:31-33)
Second Base- According to Daniel 3:48-49, he was an excellent pivot man, between Israel and Babylon.
Third Base-- He handled the hot corner and demonstrated a strong arm to deliver Israel from famine. (Genesis 45:4-5)
Short Stop-- Stopped short on his way to Damascus (Acts 9:1-9) he became an excellent fielder, made all things to all men, that he might by all means save some (I Corinthians 9:22).
Left Field-- The children of Israel decided to dance around a golden calf, because their leader was out in left field. (Exodus 32:1)
Center Field-- According to John 13:23, he leaned on Jesus' bosom and was known as the disciple whom Jesus loved. He was centered on his Lord.
Right Field-- According to Romans 4:3, he believed God and it was counted unto him for right-eousness.

That's the line-up. Who do you think the manager should be? Only mortal men are eligible. If you have a candidate, send it to me with your reason. If your candidate is selected you will receive a CD.
