Letters of Recommendation
To
the Body of Christ: I would like to highly recommend the ministry of David Benrexi-- his music and his pro-life message. We usually have one week a year a special Sunday devoted to the pro-life message and this year we had David in for something "different". And it was "different"-- it was excellent in fact. He presented some good apologetics for the pro-life stance in a very loving, Biblical fashion and challenged us to be involved in an easy practical way to help women considering decisions regarding their unplanned pregnancy. His message in Word and song and his challenge touched the hearts of the Christians in my church. David did not get into anything that would be theologically debatable. His presentation would be perfect for any Bible believing church. David is very committed to the call of God on his life and yet is very humble and kind. Get him to come to your church-- you will not regret your decision. ---Pastor Joseph F. Toomey Mon-Valley Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Charleroi, PA |
To Whom It May Concern: Mr. David Benrexi made a presentation at all weekend Masses here several weeks ago. His message was very well received by me, my associate, and members of the congregation. His presentation is well balanced and sensitive. He is pro-life in the best sense of the word. While clearly indicating the need to address and counter the abortion mentality in this country, he also expresses a Christian sensitivity toward those who have had an abortion, in hopes of bringing them around through loving understanding. He does not alienate people by being condemnatory, but calls them to a change of heart in the gentle style of Jesus. I am very pleased to recommend him to the clergy and laity of any congregation who see an urgent need to protect the preborn from the abortion mentality so sadly evident in our country and many other places throughout the world. Along with Dave Benrexi and other pro-life advocates, let us continue to work together to protect all of God’s children, both born and preborn. God bless you. Sincerely, ---Msgr. William G. Charnoki, Pastor St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, Indiana, PA |
Thank
you so much for your ministry of 'Pink or Blue?' I still cry
every time I hear the song. I have sent this CD to a center in
Sheridan, WY. It is very new, and not up and running yet, but
they will have a good start with this special CD. I also sent one
to Casper Pregnancy Center. I know the director there and she
will be so blessed to have this. I also sent one to Green River,
a new center that will be opening very soon, so you see David, your
ministry is moving across the west with just one phone call to
me. I have put this CD in the hands of people that I know will be
blessed by it. Thank you for your willingness to serve the Lord
in this wonderful capacity. God's blessings on you in your
endeavor to get the word out. ---Jackie Greer Director, Abba's House, Riverton, WY |
Hi
David, It was such a nice time speaking with you last week. I
received the CD’s. I have listened to the CD. It is wonderful and
I can see how it will minister to these girls. God bless and have
a great day. ---Jeniece Learned Director, Pregnancy Services, Sharon, PA |
Dear
David: I want to personally thank you for the 50 CD’s and booklets that
you gave to our ministry. What a blessing! It’s so nice to hear
from people like you that take abortion seriously and want to do
something about it. ---Marietta Montalvo Founder, The CROSSing Maternity Home, Pottsville, PA |

Dear David and Jo, We received the case of 'Pink or Blue?' Thank you so much. I know God will use them to touch many hearts of moms to choose life for their babies. May Jesus shower you with graces throughout the coming year. I look forward to seeing you again when you are back in the area.
Thank you for Life, |
"Pink or Blue" is important for the pro-life movement and for our
society. David through his music is touching souls so they know our
Father’s love for them. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the
incarnate Love of our Father, which is the only way we will end
abortion and save our country. God bless David for pointing to the
perfect model and way. Fred Martinez Founder of the Juan Diego Society crisis pregnancy center and author of "Hidden axis of Evil" |
I’m
so glad to see that you are fighting the good fight. I listened
to most of the songs from your CD "Pink or Blue?" I’m impressed
with the violin, and the guitar playing-- very skilled musicians
you have there. The guitar introduction to "Be Merciful Unto Me O
God" is especially beautiful. And in "Pink or Blue?" the way
guitar and violin are combined with the singing, especially with
the interplay between the violin and singer, is quite dynamic and
pleasing to the ear. The flow of the music is a lot more fluid and
natural than I typically hear from modern music. I hope that
you’re able to get this CD out to thousands of women. ---Terry Bohannon Houston Baptist University webmaster, www.abortionessay.com |
I
have known David for over five years now. Over that time, I have seen
him grow and develop as a musician and especially as a psalmist.
His songs reflect the deep love he has for the Father, and the
deeper love the Father has for him. He has a worshipper’s heart,
and a desire to bless and encourage the body of Christ. We have
given Dave an "open door" so to speak, to come and share his
songs with us. We have always been blessed by his music and I’m sure
you would be also. I give him my full and heartfelt
recommendation. ---Pastor Carmen Butler Allegheny Valley Church of God, Arnold, PA |
David and Jo Benrexi have such passionate hearts for Jesus and have displayed character and integrity, along with a desire to work with the Body of Christ. I have known David and Jo for about six years, and during that time, they have shown themselves to be very caring, committed people. They complement each other in their giftings, and seek for others to walk in their own God-given giftings also. They possess a passion for bringing others into the Father’s presence through praise and worship. I am confident they will be an asset in whatever door the Lord opens to them, and I recommend them without any reservation. ---Pastor Greg Blythe Dayspring Christian Center, Tarentum, PA |
The
secular world has done an excellent job of convincing women that
the words "choice" and "women’s rights" apply to the fate of the
unborn child. As children of God we need to counter this message
with
the truth of the gospel. But the message must be presented in a
format
that effectively reaches an audience hardened by worldly
thinking.
Enter David Benrexi. Several months ago, David contacted me to share his vision for a music ministry targeting abortion-minded women. As the director of a Christian ministry and pregnancy care center, I welcomed his offer of a free case of CDs for distribution to our clients. The majority are single women in the 19-24 age range. Many face decisions regarding unplanned pregnancies without a saving relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ or knowledge of the gospel. Through music, David gently encourages the listener to think about the sacredness of life, while offering a message of love and hope to those who have made choices contrary to God’s will. David is using his musical gifts to glorify God. In my conversations with him, his love for Jesus Christ and commitment to this ministry are evident. He has committed his time and resources to this project, supplying "Pink or Blue?’ CDs to pregnancy centers around the nation. I encourage you to support David Benrexi in working to save lives and families in this country to the glory of God. ---Marilyn Mori Director ARK Family Resource Center, Belle Vernon, PA |
I
am
a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Allentown, (PA), pastor of two
small parishes: St. Joseph (Pottsville) and St. Francis deSales (Mt.
Carbon). I invited David Benrexi of Zephaniah 3:17 Ministries to speak
at all of the Masses at my two parishes on the weekend of August 23-24,
2003. I did so without having had prior personal acquaintance with him.
I decided to take this risk because I believed that it would do my
parishioners good to hear a presentation by a fellow Christian who is
ardently pro-life and who has a unique ministry within the pro-life
movement. I am happy to say that I was entirely pleased with David’s presentation. It was easy to listen to, simple, and effective. During his presentation, he played (on a CD player) a song that touched the hearts of the listeners-- a poem he had set to music. Afterwards, he stood in the vestibule of the church in order to give people the opportunity to purchase the CD or a pro-life bumper sticker, if they cared to do so. He was discreet and did not exercise any pressure. David’s presentation is, wisely, non-sectarian, appropriate for any Christian congregation, indeed for any congregation that is open to the simple and profound message that unborn life is sacred, and that the unwed mother is to be provided with every encouragement to do the right thing for her child. David asked me to provide this letter of endorsement, in the hope that it might encourage other clergy to allow him to speak to their congregations. I am happy to do so. In Christ Jesus the Lord, ---Edward B. Connolly |
I
met David at the Heartbeat International Conference held in Pittsburgh,
PA. He shared with me the vision for this CD ‘Pink or Blue?’, and
gave me fifty of these CD’s to take back to our Pregnancy Crisis
Center. I thanked him and told him that I would use them in some
way at the center. The first time that I listened to this CD, I thought how different it was, the lyrics, the music. It was unlike any music that I had ever heard. I found myself wanting to listen to it over and over again. What really got me was the messages in the songs. These are powerful songs that carry powerful messages about life. In each song, God’s message is definitely to be heard. I believe this CD will minister to all abortion-minded clients. If you are looking for something different, a powerful tool to be used in ministering to the abortion-minded client, this is it! ---Michelle Waldrop Director, Brighter Day Ministries, Covington, GA |
Dear
David and Jo, Thank you for so generously giving the House of Ruth fifty ‘Pink or Blue?’ CD’s. We have been giving them out, knowing that each prospective mother will be encouraged and blessed. Last Thursday, a 20-year-old client with a positive test was considering an abortion. It was awesome to see her spirit soften, as we gave her information on abortion and fetal development. My volunteer also gave her the CD, knowing it would further encourage her to carry to term. Thank you for providing this resource to us. May God bless you both richly. Yours for the unborn, ---Merrilyn Jones Director, House of Ruth, Cottonwood, AZ |
Mindful
of music’s penetrating influence on the human heart, I look
forward to the fruitful impact Zephaniah 3:17 Ministries’ "Pink or
Blue?" CD project will have on confused teen mothers who are
struggling with an unplanned pregnancy. Indeed "Pink or Blue?" is
a
valuable tool for America’s crisis pregnancy centers to share
free of
charge with their clients. For many unwed teens, "Pink or Blue?"
will
bring immediate understanding, hope for the future, and abiding
devotion to their once unwanted child. As a result, children will
escape the abortionists cold, steel instruments, and God will be
glorified. ---Royce Dunn Founder of Life Chain and President of Please Let Me Live |
I
have listened to "Pink or Blue?" and am impressed. This can be a
very useful new pro-life tool, especially for an unmarried young
woman. --- J. C. Willke, MD President of Life Issues Institute www.lifeissues.org |
Thank
you for the work you are doing on behalf of pregnant young women
and their pre-born children. We will pray for God’s continued blessings
on this ministry. It is also our prayer that the Holy Spirit will
use this music to touch hearts and change lives. We will make
every attempt to distribute the CDs to all who are willing to
listen to it. Thank you again for your work. ---Cristal Evans Director, Life-Way Pregnancy Clinic, Latrobe, PA |
Dear David, Thank you so much for visiting Holy Ghost. It is such a joy to meet people like you who are so filled with Christ's love and peace. May our Lord continue to grant you good health so you will continue to bring comfort and healing to God's children. Love, Father Joseph Bennett Holy Ghost Church, South Holland, IL |
Dear David: Thank you so much for ministering to us and to our congregation this morning. It was both a special blessing and a JOY to have you with us, and might I say, your music touched us all. Please feel free to come and visit with us any time the Lord so leads you. Bring your wife and family along also, we’d like to meet them too. Until we meet again, thank you once more for the lovely visit. May God’s grace & peace be multiplied to you.

Dear Friends:
I would like to introduce you to David Benrexi, a singer, songwriter, and speaker for the cause of Christ and the un-born. I had David in the Black Lick Circuit some months ago, and he shared his “Pink or Blue?” project. David’s presentation was well received and his heart for God and for the un-born is refreshing. This ministry is well worth supporting and God is surely blessing David.
Jason McQueen, Pastor |
David: It is with highest regard and great pleasure that we enjoyed your ministry presence with us during our Sunday morning worship. A unity of Spirit was evident immediately upon your arrival. Having worked with a number of different ministries throughout the years I can truly say your respect and concern to complement the ministry at our church, instead of standing out on your own, was extremely refreshing. Everyone, of all ages, richly enjoyed your talents and gifting from our Savior. The only regret was that we didn't have you address us for a longer time period during the service. I have already recommended you to other colleagues of mine and would heartily recommend you and your ministry to any group interested in a fresh approach in saving the unborn and reaching young mothers for Christ's Kingdom! May the Lord richly bless your days ahead in ministry with Him. In HIS service,
Rev. Gary A. Koontz, Pastor |
