This is a word the Lord gave me on March 16, 2000 about His music about to be released.  I believe the date of 3/16 is a KEY because the reason for the new music is to help bring in the lost.

Feel free to forward it and share it.  (I share insights after the word because some of the phrases the Lord used triggered deeper meanings, and I go into more description below of how the Lord had previously spoken to me concerning those things.)

3-16-00
"I am about to "flip over" the music industry.  Those who are lowly and humble, who have waited on Me and for Me, who have stood in the background and not been noticed by people, they have been noticed by Me and I am about to use them. I will drive out of My House all who have bought and sold the "anointing."  I'm about to turn the tables* on the enemy.  I am about to raise up music and musicians who beat with My Heart and they will loose a music that's never been heard before, and everything that the enemy has done through music to steal, kill and destroy is about to be TOTALLY ANNIHILATED by the praise and worship of My people and the glory of My Presence as I inhabit the Music that flows from My Heart through the vessels that I have prepared for this hour for My Purposes!"

Insights:

Turn the tables:  Eph. 4:8 says "For this reason it says: When He ascended into the high places He turned the tables on your enemies in warfare.  He gave gifts to mankind."  [from The Power New Testament, Revealing Jewish Roots by William J. Morford].  The footnote says: The literal is "turned captivity captive" which is a Hebrew idiom for "turn the tables on your enemies in warfare."  This idiom is also used in Amos 9:14.

I believe the Lord is speaking about pouring out something NEW in music that has never before been experienced.  When He rose from the dead, up until that moment satan had mankind in his grasp, but once Jesus was resurrected it was clear who had won!!!  In an instant, satan realized everything had "flipped" and the crucified and dead Jesus was now THE RISEN SAVIOR/DELIVERER.  The "apparent" or "seeming" triumph of satan at the cross, and his gloating, was, at the moment of resurrection, revealed as the BIGGEST and most IRREVERSIBLE defeat, and it happened in an instant!!  The moment the Father raised Jesus from the dead, satan realized he lost the battle.  Up until that moment he thought he had it all figured out!  Well ...  the enemy has had the "music industry" in the world and MORE DEVASTATINGLY IN THE CHURCH under his control for a long time.    (Some places break through the fog, but lots of bigger churches fall for the demonic strategies that replace TRUE WORSHIP in Spirit and truth with an unholy mixture of form of godliness and performance/entertainment.)

But what the Lord is about to do is going to come SUDDENLY and it will be irreversible.  And the enemy has no way to defeat it because he does not know it's coming.  Because the Lord has hidden it in Himself to be loosed only to/through chosen and trusted and trained Sons/Daughters, the enemy doesn't know what's about to hit him.

In January I was watching a program on VH-1 about Top 100 songs of the century or something like that, only because I felt the Lord wanted to show me something, not because I like VH-1.  By the time it was over, I was deeply moved by the Holy Spirit and grieved at the EMPTINESS in the SONGS and in the SINGERS in the present music industry.  I felt like something was exposed in the spirit realm and I realized that no matter how big and "glorious" the rock world is, it had missed completely THE ONLY THING WORTH SINGING ABOUT:  JESUS CHRIST!  It was built on a wrong foundation and it was vain, empty and about to pass away!

FLIP OVER:  When the Lord said he was about to FLIP OVER the music industry, I understood that what He will do through His Sons will be that far-reaching!!  The Stones, the Who, the whatevers, doesn't matter how big they are in the world system, they will be affected by what the Lord is about to pour out, because The Power of the Holy Spirit will move through the Music the Lord is about to release.  That is why the Lord has taken so long to purify the "sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness."  Mal. 3:3

John 6:39 says:  "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day."

John 6:40 says:  "And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

I used to think Jesus said the same thing twice in these verses until He showed me they are different.  Verse 39 speaks of THINGS and v. 40 speaks of PEOPLE.  And I believe He showed me that there are THINGS in Music that have been entrusted to Him that He will RAISE UP for His last-day purposes!!!  Not even the enemy knows about these things; they have been hidden in Him until we are complete and able to handle them.  If satan could get deceived because of his ability to make music and "worship" how much more could we get confused!  Thank God for His mercy in NOT using us in His Music until we KNOW it's not because of us or our "holiness" or whatever; it's all about the GLORY of the LORD being made MANIFEST in the earth.  We just get to be the ones blessed enough to participate!!!

TOTALLY ANNIHILATE:  In 1998 the Lord spoke to me at a time I was very much questioning why I had been taken from a position of leadership in music at a small church to a background position in music at a big church.  I was being hard on myself wondering what I had done to be "set down" like that and I was wondering why the Lord couldn't use me somewhere where I could be more involved in what I really love to do - WORSHIP!!!  It  was a very difficult time of being s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d and learning other types of music that I didn't particularly enjoy or feel comfortable with, and I often wanted to retreat to my comfort zone.  During one particularly difficult time, when I was really questioning the Lord about the whole situation, He answered me with the following:  "I could use you now BUT I DON'T JUST WANT TO PUSH THE ENEMY BACK, I WANT TO ANNIHILATE HIM!!!  If you will use this time of waiting to study and learn more, you will gain more strategies to defeat the enemy. You are HIDDEN UNDER HUMILITY.  The enemy is afraid of you, but he doesn't even know what is in you (and neither do you!) because you are hidden by serving where I place you -- especially when the leadership isn't perfect. Stand in the background and serve! Use the time to grow.  I could use you now-but if you'll wait and serve and grow, you will truly be battle ready, for My Highest Purposes and not a lower purpose.  It's My Plan, like David, Samuel, Moses and Joseph, all trained and raised under less than perfect men (leadership) and I used that training to prepare them as servants for My Purpose."

The Lord also spoke to me in April about the days of other people coming into HIS HOUSE and playing THEIR MUSIC were just about over (and I felt HIS ZEAL for HIS HOUSE when He spoke it!!!), and gave me another picture of Him flipping over the tables in the Temple when He came in and cleansed it.

And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life."
